The Latch & Motion workshop explores the intricate relationship between infant mobility and breastfeeding while shedding light on how societal and cultural factors contribute to infant mobility limitations. The attendees will understand the importance of movement, how it relates to infant feeding, and clinical skills to implement movement and sensory teachings to improve infant feeding in clinical practice. 

  • Discover social and cultural factors contributing to the lack of infant movement.
  • Examine how lack of infant movement and body tension impact infant feeding.
  • Gain clinical skills on how to assist families with baby-wearing.
  • Gain clinical skills to implement sensory play into your practice.
  • Gain clinical skills to teach families how to relax and safely move their infant.

After attending this workshop, attendees will gain access to an online video library and digital handouts to implement them into practice.
